I've been slowly upgrading my wardrobe over the past few months and I've had immense trouble shopping for jeans due to me being a weightlifter and having developed big legs. I've managed to buy 2 pairs of jeans from Guess (thanks Chase) that are regular-straight. They are tight, but they fit without feeling like they're gonna rip or suffocate my balls. Thing is I fear that with me getting stronger and progressing in my sport that my legs will continue to get bigger and that eventually these jeans will not fit within the next 6 months to a year.

I'm not anti-relaxed fit jeans but I do prefer jeans that are regular-straight because of the fit around my calves and I just think they look nicer overall. I realize I could get my jeans tailored but I'm trying to keep that as a last resort due to additional costs. For those of you with muscular/athletic legs, what kind of jeans do you buy and do you get them tailored or customized in some other way? What about dress pants and other pants like khakis or chinos?

BBeyond,
I have HUGE thighs which make my body look extremely disproportionate, my legs look way more bigger than my upper body as a result (Thunder Thighs). I usually buy Lee Cooper Jeans with stretch material, slim fit. They give me pretty damn comfortable movement plus they hide my body problem to some extent.

Pks,

Haha I feel ya bro. You would do well in Olympic Weightlifting. My lower body definitely overshadows my upper body from squatting haha. I'm assuming you squat too? I've tried on some jeans recently with some stretch material in them and MAN were they comfortable. Wasn't sure if stretch material took away from the "authenticity" of the jeans but they're made for a reason. I checked into Lee Cooper and they seem like a really fashionable brand, I'm def gonna look into buying a pair. Thanks for the recommendation. Is that the only brand you get jeans from for now?

you miss 100% of the shots you don't take

BBeyond,
Nope, I don't do squats anymore, because when i would do them, my already oversized thighs would look monstrously large. :D
My jeans are stretch but they 'fit' into the contour of my body, i.e. no bagginess plus they look the same as regular fit or any other jeans for that matter.
Yeah, for now lee cooper is the only brand i use, partly because I'm still doing my internship and studying so i don't have the money to buy the bigger brands like Wrangler, Guess, Pepe Jeans, Diesel and the like. You can check those out too though. Wrangler makes really good jeans too i have noticed.
