Hey so I went on a date earlier tonight, a pretty short one; the date was about 30-40 minutes total, Gonna give the info leading into the date first.
So i met this girl Wednesday as I was heading to the gym. I walking up a hill and coming up on a bridge. I noticed her on the island in the middle of the road to the left of me. She gave me a signal but i wasn't going to approach because it would of looked like too much effort to go over there and she was also walking. She tried getting across but it didn't work and she had to walk back a bit and then i just decided to do it. I crossed the street and stopped her.
I said something like "I'd totally regret not saying anything but your fucking sexy, whats your name" She reacted well and seemed warm. From there i got her name and moved her a bit in the island, she complied and everything but her body language seemed close or maybe nervous (I say this because of the texts later on). I try to see what shes up to that night but she's busy, then the next day but busy as well so i say well just play it by ear. We exchange numbers and make some fluff talk a bit about her shopping bag which is from this new popular place that apparently is all the rage in the U.K. After she enters her number she enters her name which is a bit more investment. I thank her and give her a tap on the elbow which just felt normal to me and I'm not one to use touch very much; it felt very warm.
The texting that ensues
So I get there around 9ish and shes running a little late and I can't blame her. I didn't see her without her sunglasses so seeing her without them made me think okay this girl is cute. I stand up (I was sitting drinking my hot chocolate) to go give her a hug and greet her but she makes it awkward so instead of hugging I move it into her following me to help her decide what to order. It sounds weird in text but it played out well. I try to help her figure out what to order and as were doing so i say "It's kind of packed in here, how about after you grab your drink we head back to yours and enjoy them there; it's probably a lot warmer too." She says "My roommate has friends over, blah blah blah." ." I say okay cool. Now I go to sit down after a minute more of helping her and she goes to stand for her drink and i just go on my phone. She orders my recommendation.
She comes over and sits down, her body is facing away from me, both the top and the lower, but I'm still reading signs of interest so i think its just a game whatever. I have a feeling she just wanted to fuck and logistics were awful or I was dead wrong. We chatted a bit but I wasn't feeling anything. I ended up suggesting we spice up our drinks a bit with some booze i had in my bag. (Fireball and Hot chocolate is fucking amazing, try it) The conversation wasn't good she was being a bit awkward and i was too. Not really connecting very well but she still kept showing signs of interest. I made another move to pull i made a notion about somewhere warm a little more private but she didn't help with the suggestion just said yea, i mentioned walking but then said it would be too cold. Now i know we didn't have much time so i just said fuck it lets go for a walk any way. I had her take a sip of my drink because it tasted fucking phenomenal.
We are chatting and shes dressed to go out and i joke about her shaking her ass and she says nooo shes not. I say yea you can't fool me, don't worry i understand a bit about women and don't judge; etc. We fluff talk a little more and i get compliance by feeling her earring cause it looked cool. I'd already mentioned the time before and i was kinda walking her in that direction so i could leave because nothing was going to happen. She mentions her friends street and we walk to the door and she calls her friend. Perhaps i should of left her once we got on the street but I wanted to see if i could kiss her. I feel like she read my intention and stuck on the phone with her friend until she came to the door; i was staring off into space. She gave me a hug but it was one of those pussy one armed one. Then I just said "Oh wow no kiss, your not even going to make a move." I said it in a playful way and she looked at my lips then back at my eyes, but i'm not gonna go for the kiss as her friend is coming out. She leaves her hand on my shoulder and gives me one of those no way buddy looks or something. I don't really know what to make of this. I remain unfazed then just keep it moving and head home.
I'm gonna try and see if I can get a second date. She was complying, and there was interest/disinterest. If she reply's to my text tomorrow I'll see if I can move things forward. Any ideas fellas?

Her: I have class Friday morning and a game Saturday morning, but I could do Sunday!

Her: Oh okay I have plans at 10 on Saturday so would 830 work? ( I should of just rescheduled but in the effort of moving fast i plowed ahead)
Me: Sure 8:30 can work, we'll meet at the Starbucks on xx, cool?
Her: Sounds good!
Then Radio silence till today.
Me: Sarah got n outfit picked out for later?
Her: Of course I do
Me: Alright cool be there at 8:30
Her: Alright see you then
Me: I misses my bus lets shoot for 8:45 (faulty planning and helping parents with grocery's I ended up getting there at 9)
Her: Just let me know when you're close cause I'm at my friends apartment right across the street and I'll just walk down. No hurry!
