So I just met this girl, which my friends kind of hooked me up with. I never talked to her before, but a friend of mine told her about me, and after a 10 minute conversation at a get together I got her number. We texted back & forth for about 2 days, and then she proposed making plans with me (I said I wasn't going to be busy for the next 2 days). I told her we could hang out the next day, so around afternoon the next day I text her. I told her I'd pick up her up around 6, but she says she has plans at 7 & that she originally wanted to hang out during the day. I convince her that I'm taking her to a 'really cool place' and that we should meet up later on that night. I successfully convince her and she says to pick her up around 9pm. I get ready and shower and ask her where does she want me to pick her up. She replies about 15 minutes later saying 'something came up' and she can't hang out. I replied 'oh okay' and that was that. I keep small talk in texts, don't say much about myself (save that for the date), and usually am busy when she texts me so I take about an hour or so to respond. I'm not really mad, because I didn't have to waste any money last night lol, I'm just not sure if I should wait for her to text me back, or if I should try and make plans with her for today since I'm not doing anything later on? I'm sure she wants to hang out but I'm not sure if she was testing me, or maybe something actually did come up.
