Should you approach women if you look like a mess?

Hey guys, this question has been bothering me for a while now and the only solution I see is that always be prepared to meet women whenever u go out. While this only happens occasionally, I'm just wondering, if for whatever reasons, e.g. u didn't sleep well the night before, didn't have time to take a shower...etc, and you go out and you look like shit. Does that stop you guys from approaching girls? What would u do in this situation if you see a cute girl you want to approach, but you don't look sharp or sexy?

I used to think the same thing and use it as an excuse not to approach. "Oh I would normally approach that smoking hot girl but I can't because I don't have a collared shirt on or my hairs not perfect" Fucking Bullshit! This is shit mindset. Yes it certainly helps a lot to have good fundamentals but there's still a chance, especially if your vibes on point, that it won't even matter just get her talking. He's wearing an old shitty T-shirt with cargo pants, cheap ass sunglasses and a shitty unstyled haircut and goes to approach anyway. Although the girl wasn't into him he didn't let having shitty style stop him from approaching. In fact I think it would be almost safe to say that he is probably oblivious to even having shitty style but that's a different conversation all together.

In summary approach even if you have boils tempting to explode on your face or have dirty close on. Call it out in conversation if you have to and laugh about it but approach!

haha yea I guess if you're self conscious about your look, you will convey that feeling to the other person. but if you're cool about it, it will even amplify your confident. Hell yeah I love that video lol, what a fucking legend! He even went on to fuck that girl too, so epic! Goes to prove that having fun (or at least enjoying yourself) is way more important than what you look like. Like I said earlier, and what most everyone harps on, vibe trumps fundamentals. Although its best to have both locked down.

I've had some of my best results when I've thought I looked a mess.

Chase did an article on something similar to do with body scents and things. I can't remember what it was called but we both had similar experiences of being not on the face of it being 'at your best' but getting better than (your own personal) average results.

Obviously you want to at least try to look your bet at all times, but it's not a deal breaker. It's all in your attitude, fear of approaching is the major factor in this. Once you lose that fear, even if you still fairly shy/introverted you find that how you look doesn't make that much difference.

Take your fundamental dressing and grooming up a notch and on your bad days you will still be ahead of the pack. Today for an example in work I had two women comment on my looks and another cute girl run and hug me from behind without a word. Another separate girl who I met the other night waiting for a lift came in and sparked conversation - all of these happened while I was feeling messy.
