Online & Apps So I found someone that I used to know

I just recently moved back up the area I grew up in for a new job. Right away I changed my online dating info and started browsing different girl's profiles in the area. Before long I stumbled upon a very pretty girl that I used to know from high school. I'm positive that it's her because her name is in her username. I literally haven't seen or talked to her in 7 years. In high school, we were never really friends and didn't talk very much but she always seemed really nice and we were by no means enemies.

I'm half tempted to send her a message but don't want to come off creepy. I have no idea where to even begin.

Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks for the input!

Welcome to the boards!

I wouldn't put too much thought into the first message and what I mean don't write too much. Don't mention "Hey! You look just like this girl from my high school! ". Don't do that . . . treat her like any other online girl. An opener I've used to open used to great success is

"Hey HelloKitten,

Just thought you were cute and reaching out *Insert question about an interesting thing they have on their profile*

-TD"

Chase also have an awesome message template too in this same section of the forum. Online dating tips 2010 or something along those lines
