So what do some of you guys do for a living?

I'm enlisted in the US Air Force. Stationed overseas at the moment. Been in for 5 years. Working on degree in Finance (in my Senior year) to give myself some options if I feel its time to separate. I'm an E-4 trying to make E-5; won't go into detail but its gonna be a rough time for me to get promoted lol

Anyhow, I want to know what you guys do for a living? Do you view a job as something that has to be your passion or just something you need to do to pay your bills and pursue other interests? Do you like the job you currently hold and looking to move up?

I used to work full time as a Quantity Surveyor before. Now I do Quantity surveying jobs only part time and I do Affiliate marketing full time. I don't like Quantity Surveying, so that's why I am focusing on Affiliate marketing...

So Daividdreamer, do you drop bombs from your airplanes for a living?

No, I'm a construction worker pretty much. Officers in the Air Force fly planes, not enlisted. Though it is funny when enlisted guys make up stories of there flight battles when trying to pick up women lol...

Full time school and getting a exterior house cleaning business up and going (door to door sales at the moment, but when I get customers I'll be cleaning houses).

I'm a PhD student in Operations Research... however, I don't tell girls I am a student. Since I'm 39. Given I work full time at my studies (it's basically a 9 to 5 job) I simply tell them I work in Operations Research... (but initially I tell them I'm a secret agent, or some other such ridiculousness).

I am sponsored by a research institute but also got a lot of help from family which I'm grateful for. There's a dude who will give me contract programming work (I used to be a programmer) but I have not had time lately, just trying to finish that PhD despite being very focused on pickup atm.
