Any advice or perspective on this matter

In social circle settings, there are many women that desire me but I am at best 50/50 about, to the point of not being concerned or interested (they are not repulsive, other men even desire them, but my own personal standards seem to have... shifted...).

Is there any benefit or incentive to just having sex with these girls when they pursue you? Or better to just divert/ignore?

This is a really interesting question.

Maybe rope them into threesomes? I have no idea as my experience of this is limited to one underweight girl asking for my # unprompted and I think she was trying to backup me.
(btw based on my limited experience I think many attached girls who backup would dump if the new man would commit)
