Openers Soft opens

In a number of articles on the site, including Troubleshooting Your Opening, "soft opens" are mentioned, and further discussion is cross-referenced to the ebook How To Make Girls Chase.

I've bought the book, but can't find any mention of soft openers anywhere. Can someone give me a page reference please?

I searched the book, it has nothing about "soft opens". Must have been canned or a different name for it was coined.

Sorry for the confusion - "soft opens" and "slow opening" were two terms I was using interchangeably before I settled on calling the technique "slow opening" for the bonus eBook that went with HTMGC. They describe the same technique of making a softer, casual open, followed by letting things gently drift off if she doesn't bite right away, placing social pressure on her to re-engage, then smoothly re-engaging yourself if she doesn't take the initiative.

I still kind of like the sound of "soft open" though...!

Thanks Chase, realized I forgot to download the bonus book, which explains it!

LOVE the technique. The 5-second pause communicates enormous confidence.

Just tried it for the first time, with a genuine interest opener, at an outdoor farmer's market, and the girl kindly used the pause to fill me in on the existence of her boyfriend! LOL )
