some strange last minute resistance

Well im not sure if this can be considered lmr. I picked up this girl from a club got her number. Went on one date with her, it went ok and we had a short kiss. Went on the 2nd date a week later at a pub. We bought each other drinks so i see it as positive investment on her part. I make a push at the end of the night to bring her to my place then she says she would be willing to sleep with me but would become super clingy in her own words. I was pretty drunk at that time so i couldnt tell if she was joking or not so i applied the brakes. I might have caused autorejection in her from declining sex but she still texted the next day so i should be fine.

My buddy said this was her subtly hinting that she wanted to be a girlfriend. How can i convince her if i just want something casual? Thanks!
