Something is off about this girl - do I talk to her on the phone?

Hey everyone, I met this girl on Tinder over the weekend, pretty attractive and at first proposed a lunch date with her on Wednesday. She instead says, "Not sure if this is too direct but wanna get a drink instead?" Afterwards, she keeps hounding me with texts to see if I could hang out with her earlier. I cant, work has really picked up for me. Anyways, today she texts me again, saying, "Not sure if this is too direct but wanna talk over the phone tonight?". I dont know what is going on here as I haven't come across someone like this before. Normal people wont do this kind of stuff. At first I thought it might be a fake/scammer person (for those escorts), but verified it by searching up her cell. Normally in the past I would be pretty enthusiastic but in this case would it be a good idea to talk with her over the phone? Or should I make some stupid excuse and meet her tomorrow in person as planned?

maybe you're just exactly her type, looks-wise and she's fucking horny.

personally, i wouldn't talk to her on the phone. i'd set up a coffee date, at my convenience, then arrive late and see if she's there, see what's up and does she look like she did in the tinder pictures. or i'd give her a minute or two on the phone and then set up the date. what harm can it do? you'll know pretty quick if she's crazy, when you meet her face to face.
i wouldn't make any effort, though, the coffee date would only be if it was really convenient for me.

some girls are weird like they'll push for a date and then flake on you. i had a girl like this last week, very forward "hey, i don't like to text message back and forth i like to meet people in real life. how about we just meet this weekend" something like that. so i replied something along the lines of "i like your no bullshit attitude, ok i might meet you for a coffee ..."

then nothing back at all! fuck her.

anyway, just my two cents.

I agree with lao here. It sounds like she's horny as fuck and finds you attractive. She just wants to talk to you a bit so she can be sure you're not some creepy old guy posing as the guy on your profile, and if you aren't, she wants to hook up with you.

This sounds like a case of the girl basically wanting to do the seduction process for you, and all you have to do is go through with it and not mess it up. I would talk to her as soon as possible (if you're sexually interested) before she finds some other Tinder match to hound!
