I'm almost certain that Chase is familiar with Jordan B. Peterson's material. This guy is fantastic at describing our world. The way he talks about "discrimination" is spot on how it's discussed at GC. And I'm actually understanding my thought patterns more and more by watching his lectures. Especially when he described depressed people going to the maximum extent of looking at things such as "bad grades > questioning class > questioning university > questioning life > pondering suicide", all of this happening very quickly.
I feel like all of these models mesh together. How stories relate to life. How game relates to evolutionary psychology and sales. People who have mastered their field are well connected with each other, even in seemingly unrelated fields, they always reference each other and use their work in their own genre.
I find it so fascinating to use seemingly unrelated concepts and ideas in game and then in turn using these skills in other areas of life. Perhaps I'm overenamored by game, but I think it can certainly be one of the main if not the most important pillar in which you can build your life, character and skills around because game is so useful in damn near anything related to personal growth or society. Making friends, finding or keeping business partners, finding customers, de-escalating or provoking people, getting promotions and other things can only be improved by game and its related literature.
