Street Approach on a Small Campus?

I go to a small college. 4,000 or less people. Small enough that I see the people who I don't want to see, and big enough that I don't see people who I want to see. I initially considered cold approaches to be off the table, because I don't want to kill my reputation. But this has sort of changed over this past week. I've been trying to get back into the right state of mind (I took a 6 month break to work on studying for the LSAT) and I was feeling like no girl was attracted to me. So I said fuck it, I'm gonna take two days and go out looking incredible (one dressed up and the other more casual) and I made sure I looked KILLER. Day one, I had plenty of girls look at me and I really stood out. One of the cafeteria ladies told me I looked like one of the Beatles (I'll take whatever compliments I can get lol) and I got plenty of other compliments. Today (day two) I had two girls looking at me in a class (one turned around and looked at me). I also had plenty of girls look at me on the street and a couple smiled. I even saw the girl from my class who had turned around and stared at me and I could FEEL the sexual tension. Her mouth literally dropped open and she was shocked and excited at the same time. But I didn't approach her and I was pissed. There was a gorgeous girl wanting me to approach and I didn't. Not happy.

So clearly I am attractive enough. The problem is I'm not approaching. But I also didn't want to kill my reputation. What I'm going to do for now is situational approaches, but I know I need to start doing cold approaches.

How do I start doing cold street approaches and still preserve my reputation?
