I often wonder whether this is the author's most recent take on the subject, or even about the applicability of the article today e.g. calling and texting are different now when compared to 2010.

I generally scroll to the comments, but not all articles have comments. Plus, there's a little bit of added practicality in having them displayed somewhere in the article.

They used to be there but Chase removed them.

If someone sees "2010" on the publishing date in 2020, they'll assume it's not applicable anymore. This is not true, as women don't change much (never, in fact; only marginally with regards to their standards), but people don't think rationally. The classics like Aristotle are still some of the best writings in history but only casual and professional academics read him. People think new is better.

With marketing, assume people don't think rationally, because they usually don't.

Ehh, I suspected it was the case but thought it got lost during site moves or whatever.

I understand his stance, though. Not a lot of readers would ask for clarification.

Guess I'll just have to come here shoot the shit with y'all whenever something pops up.
