Calls & Texts suggestions/critique greatly appreciated

I'm not normally one to post and instead tend to gravitate towards nutting things out myself, I don't know why, I'd probably save myself so much trouble in life anyway, I have a text conversation I am trying to figure out and it isn't coming.

I know this girl isn't interested because about 4 weeks ago I shot her one text on whether she was free or not with no response. In light of that these messages clearly show she subscribes to the "if I ignore him he'll go away" philosophy.

Me: Fan of icecream?
Her: Not particularly hahaa why?
Me: Not a fan of icecream eh? Hmm, guess you miss out on the adventure then...
Her: Ahaha what...
Me: I suppooooose coffee would probably work instead, unless you're not a fan?
Her: What on earth are you talking about hahah
Me: Do. you. drink. coffee?
Her: Yes. Why!?!
Me: Come get coffee with me the end of this week

No response. I highly doubt she's interested, but I wanted someway to leave this series of messages open ended, a bit similar to how I changed off icecream - she's a friend of a friend so I don't want to take social hits if I can avoid it. Ideally I'd say something dominant keeping in line with sprezzatura etc, but I'm struggling to think of something.

I felt like you were beating around the bush here while trying to be funny, but it didn't really come out that way. I think she was just trying to be nice about it (since you mentioned she was social circle).

Be more direct and just send a text like the following:

"Hey Sarah, how about we grab coffee or Golden Spoon this week? "

Either way, if she was social circle, there's no guarantee that this would have gone anywhere, but beating around the bush never scores you any points (and can often lose you points).
