So I wanted to introduce myself to everyone here and try to keep an ongoing journal both for my own benefit of simply learning by explaining to others and to get positive feedback and advice that maybe amuse (and possibly inspire) others.
Present day me
I am 37 years old. I have a good job as a software engineer, am relatively good looking and confident, slept with a good number of women and been in love several times. **
** I am in no way trying to boast here, I am only good looking to certain women and am by no means super charming and smooth (although from time to time I can be). I am simply trying to paint a rough picture of myself to give the reader some context.
My History
At 25 I read 'The Game' and got involved with the PUA community in London around 2010. I had some great results and met some interesting and very strange people in the 1.5 years I really devoted to it. I then moved overseas and bounced from relationship to lay using the tools I had picked up without really thinking about it.
Fast forward a few years and I am back in London having a shit time in life heartbroken and struggling with a new career, I proceed to spend the next 4 years getting to a good point with my career, being involved in several shitty relationships and feeling increasingly restless and unhappy in London. (36 years old)
I do not know why I did not get back into game during this period, it could be some environmental factors, I think London can be a really tough city for dating and game in general but it's probably got more to do with feeling a bit depressed and trapped.
Turning point
So last year I go to the doctor after feeling a very slight rough patch on my left testicle and ... BOOM, stage 2 testicular cancer !!! An operation is needed and then 3 months of chemotherapy ensue. If anyone want anymore details PM me but all I will say is that it pays to be paranoid about your body, if in ANY doubt get yourself scanned AND biopsied (if possible). Psychologically it was a very easy experience, but as a result it pushed me to make some long overdue changes to my life.
Fast forward to ... now, I am 37, have left London and am living in a new city and feeling happier and more positive than I have for a long time and am back in the GAME !!
