Swing Dancing

Anyone have experience with this?

Just joined lessons two weeks ago, once a week and I love it. Get to learn to dance, talk to girls, and it's really fun. I'm also seeing awesome parallels with frame control, girl types, eye contact, and lots more.

Just wondering if anyone else has done a dance class like this, and what they thought about it.

Hey man. I took a dancing class today and happened to see your post! The type of class I'm taking is more classical stuff like waltz and foxtrot. I definitely agree with you on the similiarities with seduction and I also loved the class. I would say this kind of dancing is so far one of the best hobbies I have found to add up to my fundamentals. Let me highlight some pros:

- Excercise is always good
- Focus on maintaining posture
- Makes your movements more suave
- Its all about a man leading a woman!
- Get more comfortable close to women (Especially good for beginners)

I would say its a perfect hobby for any seducer out there, be a total beginner or someone longer in their journey. You can find classes where you don't need a partner as they are swaped constantly. Oh, and in addition to all, you will get a chance to chat some pretty girls.

I've been going to classes on and off this school year. The first time I went, I was dancing with the instructor and in the middle she stopped and had to explain to me that since she agreed to dance with me, there was an unwritten rule that she will be okay with me touching her through standard dance moves.

apparently, I was coming off as hesitant and uncomfortable when switching to the close grip(where you have one arm around the girl's shoulder). I learned that girls really can sense your comfort level when you "put the moves" on them (both in seduction and dancing).(Also, I had never held a girl's hand for that long before haha)


Another big thing is eye-contact. Usually when I'm dancing with a girl, she will look around the room, or never really hold eye-contact for more than a second and I realized why... because once a girl did and the sexual tension was thick enough to cut with a knife. In fact, I was getting aroused just from dancing with her. The instructors announced to switch partners soon enough though. Maybe I'm a fool for not hitting her up after class...

Jake...YES!!

I did this two years ago, but didn't dive into it much, moved abroad for a year and have come back and started doing it pretty solidly, a few times a week.

Have a read of my journal and you'll see me testing out some Salsa and Ballroom as well, but I'm a jazz musician so my heart lies with the Swing.

I almost laid my dance teacher (did a report on it) and I've got another girl from my class where things look hopeful. They are usually a sociable bunch and drinks usually happen afterwards so if you can't establish much of a connection in class, there's also a chance.

TWO things to keep an eye out for:

1. Dance workshops
2. Dance camps

These are superb to meet new people (obviously women). I've got a 3 day dance camp coming up in February, purely to meet more people. Some of them are world famous (Dragon Camp for instance http://dragonswing.pl/en/, my (male) instructor taught there this time!!!) and you'll meet people from EVERYWHERE. Quite a lot of the time you spend weekends in hotels and just dancing all weekend long (I think you can see where that can go).

Honestly brother it's a whole new world, a fantastic hobby to have and an attractive trait in a man. Dive head in for a year or so and you'll have some fantastic results.
