Hey Guys, I just bought this necklace in SS and it came a lot shinier then I was expecting. I'm actually disappointed because the pendant itself doesn't look the same at all.

Anyway how would I treat it to make it look "older"?
I've looked around and seen recommendations for vinegar and steel wool but I'm not even sure the pendant is actually brass. I'm reluctant to try one of those on a whim of some internet randoms.
