Do any of you meditate or use any techniques to control your mood? I’m strongly against taking any medication

I just find my mood is so fragile based on any small wins or loses with girls. Scarcity is a big problem for me, even though I’m starting to get dates with cuteish girls that’s not reliable and I have a bigger scarcity issue of finding a girl who can outdo my 8/10 ex gf which recently reappeared in my dreams after a very long time.

Because I have no natural advantages I do sometimes feel resentful or hopeless about getting a quality girlfriend again.

It’s very important to me to maintain mood and have low stress levels because I have eczema and it worsens my skin significantly if I’m not in a consistently good mood.

Related question is what to do about negative emotion when it comes to dating girls less attractive than the ex. I need practice but sometimes I have a tiny depressed feeling inside, even when these girls have their own thing going for them my mind is resentful that they aren’t the same as my ex in whatever way (looks, attitude, etc)

Stick to 2-3 techniques maximum. Most state dependence is because you're carrying around too many concepts & not enough techniques. Practical Inner Game.
