Hey guys,

Quick update on @Teevster's role.

Teevster (Alek Rolstad) took on an admin role following the transition to Skilled Seducer, when we had an influx of new members from the now-defunct nextASF (as well as a few older members from mASF who never joined nextASF).

We just gave him a catchall admin/mod rank at the time. However, he mostly stayed away from directly moderating anyone, and even before we put him in that role he suggested the role be temporary. He likes to mix it up in forums, and (as he can be partial) didn't want to get stuck in a moderator role where he might cause trouble.

So, at his request, we've returned him to the Tribal Elder rank and stripped him of his moderator rank and powers!

He can no longer ban users or view reports.

He still had administrative abilities: he can move, merge, and edit threads, delete duplicate posts, and look into admin issues you experience with your account.

So you can still message him for these issues.

If you're an experienced cat from mASF or nextASF or another board whom Teevster is likely to know, you can also message him to adjust your rank to what that should be too.

Anyway, you can now feel free to have hearty debates with Teevster and not worry about pissing off a mod ;)

Because he is not a mod, and doesn't have mod powers or the mod badge anymore (and also he wasn't really a mod before, but guys were feeling like he was, and he doesn't want to have to hold back and not debate various issues, so now he's back to normal Tribal Elder status).

Put if differently: I don't have the status as forum police, but I can still help you with technical issues and so on.
