Calls & Texts Text report: Beautiful girl I met last week

Last week i was invited to a house party by a friend of me.
I did not know any of the other guests except one of them vaguely as he also studies law.

Later on some beautiful girls arrived. I just continued my casual conversation with one of the guys i met earlier and looked for signs of interest i might be getting from the girls that arrived. I did get quite a few and started some casual conversation with two of them, later on i went to talk to the girl that i was most interested in. I'm not going to go into detail, because then this post would start to resemble to a field report and that's not the goal of this post. Anyway we had a nice casual conversation, with a little bit of deep diving and some flirting.

The day after i met her, i send her an icebreaker-text as I usually do.
Me: Nice to get to know you yesterday x
girl: hahaha same x

I dont think the response is to important as she responded so the ice was broken.

2 days later i started a conversation with her on facebook, i recently made a topic about Facebook Vs texting, asking if i should stick to texting or not.

Here is the conversation: (note: this is translated from dutch in to English)

Me: Hey how are you doing?
Girl: heeey! i'm fine you?
Me: alright you had a nice weekend?
Girl: As usual, the week is more interesting
Me: same here, talking about the week, what does your agenda look like? i'm quite busy myself but maybe there's a moment when we are both free.
Girl: I have a few deadlines this week, and i have plans on thursday, but maybe i will go to that thing of A and those guys. (some guys i met last week at the house party)
Me: Ah i haven't heard of that thing yet. But i was actually thinking of getting a drink together. If you can't, its not a big deal
Girl: I can't really tell yet, but Wednesday would probably be most convenient, but I'll let you know.
Me: Hm, Wednesday is going to be pretty hard for me, i'll see if i can still find some time, otherwise next week
Girl: Oke

Looking at this myself, i think there is an opportunity here, i didn't like the 'i'll let you know' because usually they wont, so i tried to turn that around by saying that wednesday is going to be pretty hard for me. While it actually is going to be.

Hope to get some opinions on this! tell me where i went wrong or where i could have done better. Also if you have any tips on how i should continue from here on i would be glad to hear them!

I know some other guys on the forums disagree and agree with me... but I view FB as a friend zone. I just don't add girls on FB unless we get intimate. Even after intimacy, I never added my recent ex- on FB.

I tried the FB thing once and even wrote a post on it, and it just doesn't work for me.

Here are some disadvantages:
- She can look up your photos/statuses anytime she wants without having to see you in person; this loses a little mystery
- You are now apart of her social friend group; therefore, you now have more potential for ruining her social reputation (unlike a guy that has no ties to her)
- FB is pretty much a "friend book"; it's easier to "store" guys and make them orbiters
- Now you have to be more careful with what statuses and photos you post; I like the freedom of posting w/e I want

There are some pros, but I believe there are more cons than pros. And if a girl won't get you her phone # and only her FB, I just never take it.

The good news is that you have her phone #.

I think the conversation went fine. If anything, it does sound like you have the potential for a quick lunch informational date Wednesday. This way you can deep-dive and get her invested and hopefully that will make it easer to get a date in the next 2 weeks.

If you can't get a quick date this week, I say just work on some other girls in the meantime. If she doesn't let you know when she's free, ping her again in a week or 2.

Ok, i'll see about the informational lunch date because i normally don't do that but i guess i can give it a shot. I'll definitely work on some other girls starting tonight and contact her in a week or 2 if we can't meet up this Wednesday.

I used to always do the traditional date. I took her out for the whole night, like every guy does. (I wouldn't always do dinner & a movie though.) Thing is... it's just difficult to get sometimes, especially if you didn't build a lot of attraction. It's easy for a girl to say, "Eh, I barely know this guy. Do I really want to potentially waste a whole night on a potentially awkward situation?"

The informational date kind of breaks the ice and is easy to do when both parties are busy.

You've got a good point, there's a big chance of rejection when you ask a girl out on these kind of dates. I will keep that in mind for setting up future dates.
