Met this great girl on a dating site, she has a hectic work schedule but managed to squeeze in a few dates that went very well, most recent date ended with her at my place instead of going to a party, after i suggested dropping my car off at home so we could drink more at the party and catch a cab instead. this is the conversation that took place when we got to my place after making out a bit
her : I'm nervous, promise me you wont push things too far
me :me too, dont worry i wont do anything you dont want me to
her: Pinky swear we would be best of friends too?
me: pinky swear( I know.. ... cheesy, but anything at that point would say yes to) but i do like her so no worries there
Made out the rest of the night and she said she wanted to go to bed, everything happened except sex cos she resisted and didnt want to mess it up for next time.
Fast forward next day she said she was glad we didnt go to the party and that she had fun ....dropped her off at home.
I text her at night cos its the one time i know she responds, she engages me in a convo and then just stops
eg. her : how was your day?
me : good yours?....then no reply
me : Its been a crazy week for you how about i treat you by making you dinner then we can go out for a night on the town...cant promise champagne popping and crystal sipping but i promise it ll be fun.
her: that sounds really amazing, Ill let you know after I get off work if i can make it.
me: ok sounds good let me know... no reply or response that night till next morning
her: guess I couldnt make it..lol
me: no reply
her : what are you doing tonight?
me: playing golf late in the afternoon, what do you have in mind? what time do you get off?
her: 6 ish I think
me: okay let me know when you done ill come pick you up
her: no reply
7:30 that night i text to find out if we were still on
her: a group of us at work decide to go to the restaurant after work.
me: thats fine just let me know when youre done.........no reply
I decided to not text her for about 5 days cos i think i was coming across as too needy, havent heard from her
since that night she has been quite illusive about another date, I usually make sure our text convos end with her text, but somehow she seems to engage me and then i seem to have it end on me...How do I gain back control and am I just being a bit too needy and making nothing out of it?, In my experience I usually have girls chasing me especially after spending the night with me although its the first time it didnt result in sex. Is she just trying not to come easy and playing hard to get? how do I handle this?
