Awhile back I was doing some day game and ran into this really cute girl (I shall call her "Becky") she was with another girl (a chubby one, I'll call her "Kat").
I started chatting her up and the chubby one tells me that she knows who I am and tells me I am Sherry's ex boyfriend.
Sherry and I used to be fuck buddies (nothing more), but I think Kat thought we were once in a relationship? I only met Kat once before that, so I'm not fully sure.
That moment Kat said she knew me, I realized who she was and all I could do was laugh it off and the situation got awkward and they left.
Fast forward some months, I ended up getting Becky's number from Sherry. And in between time we chatted some very small chats. I found out she has a bf, but doesn't seem like they have such a good relationship (Sherry has also told me about her bf and how they don't really get along etc.)
I recently found out Becky had broken up with her bf and I decided it was a good time to ping her and get her response.
We haven't talked before for some time up to this point. And she never replied back. She is also busy with school.
I did not text her again (she hasn't replied to my last previous texts either) but I decided a ping won't look needy after some months.
In between time I've dated a few other really cute girls, but Becky seems to always float in the back of my mind. She seems to play her cards right lol. I've even tried asking her to come and help me with this work I legitimately needed help with and she apologized and said she had no time.
For some reason I don't feel much discouragement after her rejections, like how I would feel it were another girl. I am always kind of non-nonchalant about it. Still doesn't feel good being rejected by her however haha.
I want to keep trying, but NOT in a way of showing her I am interested in her? However, texting her back when she is not replying show it? I'm not sure.
Which is why I finally decided to ask on a forum because I've been trying to figure out this girl for some time now.
In the end, I am okay if I never get this girl. My feelings will not get hurt by her. But it would be really cool to know I tried and finally get her and show her I can be an awesome dude.
The reason I am wanting to keep trying is because I see us having a lot in common and when we have met face-to-face with Sherry, Becky and I do strike up a good conversation. However, I know a lot of her mind gravitates towards her feeling awkward that I'm a friend of a friend of hers and it's difficult trying to figure out how to go about that.
This is why I want to ask someone out there if they have been in any similar situation and how would they handle it.
I appreciate any response and/or comments.
On a side note: Sherry doesn't truly know I have a thing for Becky, but maybe she does because obviously Kat (chubby one) told her what happened.
