Hey guys, I have a question for you... admittedly it's a very basic one, but perhaps I will be asking what a few others want to know but are afraid to verbalize. Or maybe I am the only one who doesn't know. If the latter is the case, I'm good with that, I'm accustomed to it!
When a woman refuses to isolate with you, or resists escalation, or says "no" to sex, does she get a sense of achievement, of delight at having avoided a potentially intimate situation? Is it purely a sense of relief, or does it provide her with a real feeling of satisfaction similar to, say, when you pick up a bargain at the mall and thus avoid paying full price?
Conversely, if she had acceded to the man's request, would it have somehow "cost her something"? Is there a severe downside to intimacy for a woman?
In many places on this site, it is emphasized that a woman derives greater physical pleasure from sexual activity and climax than a man does, yet the common behavior described above would seem to be irrational if that is the case.
Thank you for helping me to understand this important point.
