The Dark Triad

So there's this concept floating around the manosphere these days that I've taken a real interest in and it's the Dark Triad. Have any of you guys heard about it? What do you guys think about it?

Basically the Dark Triad are the 3 personality traits that make men REALLY attractive and desirable to women, you could also say they're the golden traits of the Bad Boy.

The way people who rate high in dark tetrad traits think would turn alot of girls off actually. Acting like a “psychopath” won’t necessarily make you attractive. It’s more so the guys who do the best with girls, tend to also be high in dark triad thinking already.

Someone who tests high in psychopathy you wouldn’t even be able to tell apart from a regular guy most likely, they can be the nicest and most charming people ever. Being high in dark triad traits naturally is waayyy different than trying to adopt what their behavior is supposed to be.

I tested a 5 in narcissism and machiavellianism, I also tested a 3 in psychopathy. Does that make me someone who goes around bolstering my image, or a manipulator, or an emotionless robot?

I think dark triad people are more inclined to learn how to be attractive to help fuel their grandiosity. They also feel less pressure in certain situations so they come off cool and composed.

Yes, I know I already posess one of the traits of the Dark triad in massive amounts: Narcissism. I've always loved the way I look and people have always reminded me that I'm vain since I've always been one to admire myself in the mirror. Whenever I've been told I'm handsome it has reinforced my pride in my appearance and my vanity, especially when I was in my early 20s and I was told I look like a model over and over again. It's just a shame I didn't go for it. Last year I went on a date with a really hot colombian girl who was biting her lip and giving me those fuck me eyes. What's that thing they say when you look deeply into each other's eyes, tunnel vision? That's exactly what happened and she then followed up by telling me that I'm very vain. I laughed. I guess it must be ingrained in my body language. I'm very vain and I know it. My biological father is also a narcissist, I guess it must be those Italian genes.

Think is he's also very machiavelian, always trying to manipulate me into doing what he wants. Question is can you adopt any of the dark triad traits? I would be open to becoming more machiavelian tho the psycopathy, not so much, I don't want to go to jail lol

Really? I've heard and would think it would make a guy way more attractive? The self confidence, the manipulation, and that ruthless streak, all the things women fall for, especially the narcissist one, sexy bad boys are all very full of themselves, and girls love them. Then there's the machiavelian trait, the controlling aspect, girls keep on going for controlling men, they always whine about them but they keep going for them. Then there's the psycopathy, it explains why tons of girls go for criminals and thugs. The Dark triad really does work in attracting women.

Really? I've heard and would think it would make a guy way more attractive? The self confidence, the manipulation, and that ruthless streak, all the things women fall for, especially the narcissist one, sexy bad boys are all very full of themselves, and girls love them. Then there's the machiavelian trait, the controlling aspect, girls keep on going for controlling men, they always whine about them but they keep going for them. Then there's the psycopathy, it explains why tons of girls go for criminals and thugs. The Dark triad really does work in attracting women.

You never SEE these traits, it’s an unconscious belief system that permits certain behavior and thinking. You can’t look at a guy and know he’s dark tetrad. Not truly.

For example a manipulator wouldn’t allow themselves to be exposed as one. Girls only find out AFTER the fact.

Edit: Seducing girls is machivellian in itself because you are puppeteering a certain outcome, but the girl’s don’t know this.

Alot of what you learn on these forums is gonna be tactics used by high dark triad guy’s; Afterall alot of the guys here are probably high in dark triad traits, not excluding me.

But you could never learn how to think like one if you aren’t one. It’s nature/nurture. It would be like trying to learn how to think like someone who’s ocd.

Agreed.
I don’t think it would be very effective to try to become more “dark triad”… in any case it may even get you in trouble.

Learning why some things that “dark triad” guys do work and adapting them to you, on the other hand, can bring very interesting results (without so much risk and investment).

Also, careful with those generalizations.

The fact that women end up often with manipulative/insensitive/vain guys doesn’t mean that women enjoy the experience.
You should aim to learn sales from a con-man without becoming a con yourself.
