Here's how to do the "I agree" facial expression:
- Pull back one side of your mouth dramatically up into your cheek.
- Eyebrows up
It's really similar to the "cute and sexy look" and the "bored look" that Chase describes in his facial expressions article. The difference is that this is more of a friendly look.
When I first started working on my facial expressions I tried out the cute and sexy look on many people and ask them what they thought it meant. 100% of the time they said it looked like I was agreeing with them. I was initially confused, but then I realized I was doing the "cute and sexy look" wrong and I was actually using the "I agree" facial expression. It really clicked today when I was in a group. Someone said something, and I pulled out this face. One person then said, "backstory definitely agrees."
Girls will be more open to your approach when you use this facial expression. You appear a friendly person who's not a threat and you're already building consensus with her even before you've said a word. Also, its a great way to agree with someone while they are talking, without interrupting them (law of least effort).
