The Japanese have an idea called “Ichi-go Ichi-e,” literally “one time, one meeting.” The idea behind this phrase is that you will never be in the same place with the same person at the same moment in time, and because of that fact, you should live the moment to the fullest.

This is a very strong concept. I travel a lot so for me this is the only way to maintain relationships with girls. It works very well. Anyways, I thought maybe more could be written about this and ways of managing relationships that are intermittent for guys like me who are not in one place for continuous periods of time.
