Me and this girl are just in the beginning of text and stuff. I called her yesterday and she didn't answer but wrote me a text to say she was sorry for not answering but she was working late. Then I wrote: "I was putting together some furniture so it's ok this time but you got to make it up to me". Now she hasn't answered my text and i'm wondering if the cheekiness got lost in the text.

What's the best way to handle this situation? Saying something like, "Sorry, I think something got lost in the text, I'm more of a >meeting in real life guy< then a text guy etc etc.."

Thanks!

You could double text ":)" to make ur meaning clearer, if so do ASAP. Or wait 10 days and re engage not mentioning it.

It's possible that she didn't like that. Or maybe she's just busy and hasn't gotten back to you. Some girls take a long time to text back (I've had a girl text me back literally six days late!) In any case, don't apologize. Don't even acknowledge it. Just continue texting her like it never happened. Just make sure to wait a day or two before sending a double text. If she doesn't reply after that, I would just NEXT her.
