There was a nice build up, we flirted outside the elevator once, then again a few other times. Walked up to her desk and asked if she was single. Got her number. Asked for date same day, she couldn't. we went out maybe 4 or 5 days later.
planned to walk to bar 3 blocks away. was raining so I drive to nicer set of bars instead.
very nice conversation, touching, etc. she was not particularly interesting but very pretty.
she mentioned the bar smelled weird. we agreed to go somewhere else. bar near our apt.
driving home, everything still very smooth very nice. I have a very nice truck and she knows I make decent money. Am good looking guy. very busy.
instinctively, isntead of going to bars, I just drove home. Did not even mean to, just did it on accident. she says 'where are we going?' I say, 'what do you mean, this is our apartment.' I had legitimate just a little tipsy and wasn't thinking. realized it, thought about a uturn, and just decided keep going.
Asked if she wanted to come upstairs. she said no. Still sexual tension, smiles.
She texted me right after. It was great seeing you outside work! Thanks have a nice night.
A few minutes later I replied, 'I had a good time getting to know you too. I want to see you again soon
'
No answer. a few days pass, and I propose another date. No answer.
a few hours after, I get home. go to gym. run into her outside of elevator mid sales text, cut off shirt, boxing gloves. looking pretty good.
She is instinctive smiles at me, but is a little awkward. Says long day, I say me too.
as I walk away, her friend says 'door please close, are you okay?' not serious but a little passive aggressive, nothing wrong with it just pointing out the tone.
I work out. end up thinking through the awkardness and text her 'Its cool dude! Really. Was fun but I get it. If you want to see me again, cool. If you don't you don't. No worries! Just two people crossing paths'
when I leave gym, they are in the lobby again maybe 20 feet away, and I just go straight to elevator.
obviously no text back.
Assume I blow my shot. ANd she was very into it before and during date.
Its not the end of the world, but would like some advice on what I could have done better. obviously texting is a weak spot in my game. I botched the build up and close, but not terribly so. Would you guys have uturned and gone to the bar or just gone for it?
I have been with lots of women and many on first date or first night at bar. not a master or natural but have been with 100 ish women. rusty over all, work too much in new city.
I'm a very successful car salesmen, so I should be better. Emotions make it a little different. I've blown it down the stretch a few too many times though. This one is somewhat obvious, but I close billionaires on car deals. I make a quarter mil selling cars.
