You`re right. However, look at it this way.

I read that article, but my major problem is: I don`t know what to do when we get to the bar or a coffee shop the first time. I really don`t know what to say about the payment of drinks. When we get to a bar, they ask for a card to leave tab open. How do you deal with this? I know you take them to coffee shop, but how don`t you pay for girl`s? What do you say for her to pay?

After bar or coffee shop, I take a cab with her to my apt, because it takes around 1 hour by train. How can you deal with that not to pay for everything for taxi fair?

You will save me tons of money if you help me with this Maximus! Basically saving my life.

No I just go to a coffee shop literally a stones throw from my apparent thats good for logistics and either show up early or later when they already have the coffee because of the social pressure to sit there and not have it. Otherwise I just say upfront in the text I dont pay for first dates.... however I gave up doing food for dates because im working oyt and cant be eating all the time so coffee and tea are.my preference. Maximus, I was just with a new date, she wasn`t that beautiful and I was really tired, so I won`t write a field report, I just let her go after trying couple of things. I met her solely to try what you are doing. While we were walking to the bar (we met at 8.20pm, so I could not take her to coffee shop), I told her I don`t pay on the first date. She was VERY surprised and asked me why. I told her I was not a boyfriend material. We went to the bar and the first time we split the bill! So, it was great practice and I will do it all the time.

Another thing is, since I always take taxi with girls home, I tried taking the train this time which usually takes around 40 minutes. By the time we went 10 stops or so all the attraction between me and her was gone. She said she was very tired and wanted to get off and take the taxi to her home. I was so tired to push so I let her go.

So, it seems like I will ALWAYS have to take a cab and spend around 20 bucks for it. It really sucks, but I don`t see any option.

Anyways, I don`t think it is really worth writing a FR for today`s date, so I wanted to point this out here.
