Hi guys, there is this girl who I made a mistake with. Basically I was introduce to her at a club and ended up making out with her without escalating to sex. Afterwards I tried to ask her out but then she gave me a text saying how she just broke with her bf and isn't ready for anything. I just left for school and she lives about 300 miles away. I basically tried to reduce any contact with her as I'd like to give her a shot for practice when I get back to the area in the future.
Only problem is, she texted me today saying, "I just started school today and I was really scared to talk to anyone, what should I do?"
She is a shy Chinese girl who just moved from china and is attending university here. How should I respond to this classic "wanna be friends", trying to get attention text without seeming like a jerk? Thanks guys!
