I've been dancing for years; don't have much time to go out anymore, but find having a couple of partners keep me in good shape and also keeps my skills up.

I've used area-defined Facebook groups to find partners a lot in the past, and have got quite a few partners out of it, but recently I want to try something different. Couple reasons:

1) the ladies can see I'm married-with-child, which I believe is a put-off, even if consciously she thinks she just wants to learn to dance and
2) I want to find an attractive partner.

With Facebook, I've never gotten enough hits to pick and choose; basically, I've just had to take what I got. So I'm thinking, what I need to do is approach attractive, energetic ladies I actually see out and about.

Do you guys think Girls Chase skills - at which I'm not at all adept, but am hoping to learn - could be applied for that purpose instead of hooking up? If yes, suggestions?

Abraxas,

Salsa? Kpop? This is more easier to find attractive women than Hip Hop, although Hip Hop is a lot too. Street Jazz is also great. but it is better to find a group of people that has women a lot more in the social circle, to dance. It is weird for them to dance with you solo for no reason or whatsoever, unless you very good.

And try at least not to bring your child to the dance studio. People want to be popular, to practice, to have fun and to get some recognition when they go to dance.
