So I went out by myself tonight, and started talking to these guys, who had this one cute girl with them. I talk with them, and join their group. A little late, I introduce myself to the girl, and we get to talking. I get her next to me, and I'm being playful/physical, and she's enjoying it. I isolate her a little bit too. Her friends are sitting on one table, and me and her are sitting on the table next to them. I touch her legs intermittently. I ask her if she's single, she says yes, and she asks me if I am, and I say yes. She tells me she used to date an Indian dude , and that he was the longest boyfriend she had. I feel that this is a sign of interest, but I'm not sure how to proceed, because I can't pull her from the group.
The group decides to switch venues, and I join them. During the transition, I don't really talk to my girl, she's talking to her best friend. Only thing of interest is that I mention that I used to live in India, and my girl says that I'm like her ex-boyfriend. My girl's friend makes a comment about how that guy was special, and my girl seems a bit embarrassed.
At the new venue, I realize that I'm not talking to my girl, and I think she's losing interest, so I decide to try making her jealous by hitting on some other girls. I open the girl next to me (thank god opening is becoming an easier skill), and just do some playful flirting/banter with some touching. I let this go on, and then go back to my girl. Interestingly, she's more open after my flirting with the other girl. She eventually starts talking with her friend again, and I go back to flirting with the other girl. We go sit down. I end up sitting next to my girl, and we talk a little. All the friends go off to take a picture, leaving me and her, and I use the moment to grab her number, telling her I enjoyed talking to her, and that we should grab a coffee. She says she doesn't like coffee, so I say that we can do wine, or water, and she says water is perfect (sarcastically).
A little later, the friends decide to leave. My girl's best friend asks if my girl wants to go with them, and she says yes. Before she leaves, she turns to me and says: "I'm going with them, obviously". I'm not sure what to make of this last statement. I just say sure, give her a hug, and tell her we'll grab the water sometime this week, to which she says, "or wine is nice" (or something to that effect). On one hand, this seemed like a rejection, on the other, the statement meant she had considered going home with me, and the very last statement seemed to imply something sexual.
I verified the number via snapchat, so I know it's her number. I sent her a text saying: "Great meeting you tonight [name]!! Let's grab that water sometime soon

No response, but it's only been a few hours.
Any advice/takeaways on this would be awesome. I know that there was interest on the girl's end, but I could not capitalize on it because I could not think of a way how to. If someone with more experience could help me with techniques for closing, I would appreciate.
I've improved dramatically in building interest, but without being able to close, it winds up going nowhere.
