I have a friend who has status at the spot. I went with him yesterday (previous weekends had been really non-ideal conditions for rooftops).
I'm also cool with the floor manager, who was working down below, and me and my friend talked with him for a bit. No issues going upstair.

Find a way to make the idiot bouncer see that you know and get along well with other staff members - especially those above or at his level. He will still hate your guts but can't do shit. He will however patiently look for excuses to screw you over so watch out! Anything that can be used against you may be used.
