GF,
It's not as impressive as it may sound. I started three months ago and have done only 41 solid approaches: "solid" means I stated my interest unambiguously, exchanged names (obviously) and explicitly asked for a date. That's less than one every two days.
I am NOT counting some of the blowouts I had at the start, e.g. situational approach then failing to go direct (attempting vainly to read interest levels), or asking to join a girl at an outdoor table, for example, and being declined before even introducing ourselves. Glad to say I have stopped doing that nonsense already.
I am also not counting social circle dates though that has been very minor... this is about daytime cold approach. I don't go to many house parties (and certainly don't go alone), and it's years since I last took a class.
I am aware that I need to step up the pace to gain the learning benefits of having a lot of experience condensed into a short time; I face a few obstacles, but I'm working on that.
The above details come from my spreadsheet records; soon I plan to post descriptions of each interaction in the Journals section.
