Here's something cool I realized about how Limiting Beliefs in seduction are similar to time barriers in sports.
Whenever you see an athlete break a certain time barrier everyone else catches up almost within the next year. The two examples I want to focus on are the mile run and rubik's cube times.
In the mile run, everyone thought it was impossible to break 4 minutes until Roger Bannister finally did it by visualizing the perfect race. About a year later 4 more people had broken it. Now, even high school students are able to get sub 4-minute miles. My theory for this explosion is that once the brain knows it's possible it acts differently and the runners are more likely to accomplish sub 4-minute miles. In order to be the first one, you have to visualize in order to trick your brain into believing it's possible. Now of course, there are other contributing factors such as better training and better running shoes but I dont think these can entirely account for the explosion.
The same thing happens with speed cubing times. Among the top say 10 speedcubers, when 1 breaks a time barrier, the others are quick to catch up.
While this isn't a definitive proof, it's evidence that if you think something is impossible, it'll be much harder to achieve it. So if you think you can't get laid because of your "subpar" genetics, realize that a negative mindset could be contributing to the failures, even though you can't perceive the effect. I know this message is everywhere on GC, but it's cool to see evidence in support of it elsewhere.
