Socializing Wait for approach signals or just approach??

Like the question entails.

Scenario: say you're out somewhere and you see a girl that you like, but she doesn't know you're presence or seems like she would only know your presence once you approach her.

What would you guys do in this situation: Would you wait for a girl to send you approach signals, elicit some from her before approaching her, or are you just like you know what fuck it, I like this girl so Imma approach her? I usually do the latter especially if it's a girl I really like if I can't find any signals, but most of my successful dates have came from women giving me signals to approach her.

Reading with headphones - NO GO

Sitting as if she is waiting without something she is engrossed in? Well then I will put myself in her line of sight, make eye contact and smile. Most of the time she will smile back and I will approach. Something as simple as "Hello", "Good day", "Hi". If she replies in a similar manner then it is on... After some of the women I've met, there are just too many happy, outgoing women out there to waste my time on someone who does not want to be cordial and nice. I've also found I can give approach invitations and women will approach me. THAT is something!
