Today again I approached a girl at the gym. Cause I'm busy and don't gave much time to go out and approach. I basically have the hour at the gym and the hour of rest and having lunch and write this. Btw I am social with all the people at the gym. The girls working at the counter. The cleaning lady, the instructor. Some of the regulars. So I'm not only talking to the girls I approach.
I think I got rejected because she went into auto-rejection this time. Keep reading and tell me what you think.
This girl was a bit more average looking like a 6-7 but has amazing body and was wearing tight grey yoga pants and pink top. So sexy,
I noticed her doing exercises near me and our eyes locked a few times. I also caught her staring at me a few times, with my peripheral vision. Like looking a me for 20-30 seconds. Then when she was on the hamstrings machine and I was coming near her she asked how to adjust it. I showed her in a bored way(like ..fine..). And I said by the way me name is Ico. She said I'm Ulia(like Julia but with a U). I took her hand and didn't shake it bu rather hold it gently but firm and said Nice to meet you Ulia. She also said nice to meet you.
And I went to continue my set. After 5-10 minutes we crossed paths and I told her "come for a second I want to ask you sth."
She said ok and came. I went direct again. like the last 2 times. Basically "I think you're cute and I'd like to get to know you. Lets get coffee sometime"
She rejected me again with "No.. I have a boyfriend". And didn't say anything else.
I said okay, it's still nice meeting you, Ulia.
And I went to continue my work out.
The weird thing is after that she again came to work out near me and with my peripheral vision I could see her checking me out. She was actually staring at me during every set I did. Literally staring at me. I didn't loot at her again, only used my peripherals. I also didn't re-engage her. Cause she game a "No!"
I think this might have been a case where she went into auto-rejection, because as I said she was a bit more average and I can say I'm above average. I caught her looking at me a bunch of times and we locked eyes a few times, but I took 20-30 minutes to approach her. She asked for my help.
I might have been a bit to direct and she might have gotten thrown back by me going direct like that. And it might have been a reflex to say "No.. I have a boyfriend".
Plus she continued to work out near me(when I change place in the gym she was like following me) and she stared at me for 10-15 minutes while she was resting between sets. Or she might have been staring because I approached her direct like that and she couldn't believe it.
The thing that makes me think it was auto-rejection was that she said it kinda serious and harsh "No.. I have a boyfriend" and it kinda sounded like a knee jerk reaction. I think most girls if they are not interested will be nicer and won't stare at me before and after I approached her.
