We want what we can´t get

Hello folks
I have a question. I find very interesting the philosophy of " We want what we can´t get" .. So during this last semester of school i was into a girl.. we talked, we flirt, i had a kiss attempt that fail ( she move her face away, but we continued to talk, etc).. So during this Christimas vacations, i had lower my attempts of chase.. and i didnt text her at all.. However i found myself today reading a text from her saying " Hello boy, where have you been? I have not seen you in eitheir one of the exams :O "..She text me at 8 pm and i havent answer back. My though was.. this girl is hot, she probably have all kind of guys texting her all the day, so i wanna be different from those guys, so i didnt text her back making her think, i hope, there i was being misteryous and not needy at all. Hoping, one more time, that with this " not texting back " she will "come after me/ being more attracted" because " We have what we cannot get"

I dont know if i am right , however i would like your opinion on this topic .. and if i had done right by not answering and if not what could i have answer/ can answer

Try rereadng your bloody threads before posting. Therefore I presume when you school you don't mean college!

The thing is, she has her pride too, and probably isn't going to send a follow-up text which might make HER look needy.
