Weak Verbal Game in College

I come from a pretty small and reserved place but have finally made it to a wonderful college town. It's been a month since I started gaming seriously (I have followed GC for 3 years but only as much as the previous city allowed me), but here I am again, I actually am the weird guy in a lot of social situations just because I don't know what to say or how to verbally express myself while I see my friends do that all the time. And I cannot just hang there while while others in a group keep engaging the girl, right? I have to step in and interact verbally, but that's a weak link!

Especially because I'm just not that talkative or witty!

I do frequent the clubs, but the girls that are there are mostly with guys or groups which have guys and I shy away from approaching them. The once who are sitting down do get approached though, if they're not with a guy that is. Is that okay or should I grab my balls and do it anyway?

I feel like I am learning, but the progress is too slow. Since most of you have been through this phase, help a brother out. Any advice is much appreciated.

Yo man, good shit on moving to a better city, you're cutting your learning curve a lot by doing just that. That being said, I'd say if you consider your progress too slow still, you need to be approaching everyone. By not doing mixed sets, you're targeting your approaches but not in the right way. Right now you want to be building your social skills and connections to catch up with the others who have lived there for a while.

So yeah, you've got it right, grab your balls and jump into those mixed sets.
