So I went to a party tonight. I noticed half way through that every girl I spoke to only really talked to me for 1-2 min max. I'd meet a girl, and after 1-2 min of talking, they got bored and started talking to someone else. A couple times I even thought, hey it seems like this girl really likes me. But after 1-2 min, they go and talk to someone else.
It wasn't just me. It was like this for everyone! I'd notice a girl would be talking to a guy and after 1-2 min, they would leave and go talk to another guy. It was a party so I thought hey maybe everyone is trying to get to know each other. Nope, even near the end, people would at most talk to each other for 1-2 min. I went to a bar/ lounge after and it was the same thing. I'd talk to a girl for 1-2 min, then they would leave and go talk to someone else.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone was moving too slow? Right? I keep wondering, what if I had made a move on one of these girls after 1-2 min? The thing is I know we should move fast, but I never thought this fast. I forgot which article said it, but you're much better off making a move the same day you meet rather than asking for her number and trying to plan a date later. And I feel like alcohol lowers your attention spam. So I need to move faster right? What would be an ideal move in this situation? Grab her hand? Go for a hug? A kiss? I've never really partied before tbh. Best way to escalate here?
