I was just wondering generally, what would elicit the most emotion between the 2: A statement or question. (Both have to be well crafted of course.)
"It must be incredibly painful and exhausting to go through such a difficult time."
"What has been the most painful and exhausting part of this difficult time for you?"
In these 2, I noticed the 2nd seems to assume it, whereas the first one it could be just opinion.
Wouldn't this mean to use more questions than statements? Compared to what many PUAs say to ask less questions and use more statements/comments??
But outside of this I was just wondering what would in general elicit emotion, statement question?
