So I've never been one to post field reports since interactions tend to go nowhere and I hate typing but this one really caught me by surprise.That being said I felt compelled to post it in hopes that you guys on the boards could give me further insight.This begins sometime during early October.I've been grinding my way through prerequisites for this nursing program at my university so I'm left with very little time for going out. So on this unassuming day I leave my apartment to hop on the bus to head to Anatomy and physiology and this cute light-skinned girl about 5'3 hops on the bus behind me.I had noticed the gryffindor key chain hanging from her neck and think to myself 'awesome I've already got a good conversation starter'. I reach for her shoulder and before I can tap it she swiftly turns around with a big smile on her face.
xxxx: "Hi!"
GoldenBoy: "Hello I was actually about to talk to you and lo and behold you beat me to it
."
xxxx: "Well I noticed you before I'd even gotten off the bus and I wanted to ask if you could help me with something.."
GoldenBoy'now I know we're not suppose to give compliance before getting it but I was curious about the key-chain and the papers in her hand.Is that a manuscript I see?')
GoldenBoy :"Sure Whatcha need gryffindor??"
xxxx:"Gryffindor huh?" with a smile on her face, "I'm guessing you saw the key-chain?"
GoldenBoy: "Sure did but we can talk about that a little later,what'd you need help with?"
Gryffindor: "Well I've got a to perform this manuscript and I was wondering if you'd be willing to help me. I'll be playing a female version of Macbeth"
GoldenBoy: What a smirk and knowing look in my eye, "Sure but you'll have to give me the story of that key chain alright?"
She complies and we practice the manuscript which is surprisingly fun,we're laughing and messing with each other,pushing and shoving on the bus. so when we finally get off the bus she tells me that she's a huge Harry Potter fan like cosplay and all that.Hell she's even doing an end of the semester project for either her communications or sociology class.I'm rather intrigued but notice I'm now late for class.I big my goodbye and over my shoulder say...
GB: "That's cool i'd like to be a apart of it so let me know how it goes"
( Now I know I could've number closed but for some reason I didn't. Guess I just wasn't pressed or didn't care at the time.) Fast forward to mid-November on the 17th and here I am waiting for the bus again and who greets me on the bus stop...Gryffindor.)
Gryffindor: "Hey you!!"
GB: "Hey yourself Gryffindor,how's the project go?"
Gryffindor: "I'm stumped"
(Now as a Harry potter fan myself i'm intrigued about this project.It could be a good way to reveal more about this give and give me the perfect setup for a date and deep-dive)
GB: "Well we can out our heads together and figure something out. When are you free to chill?"
Gryffindor: "I'm only free Wednesday unfortunately i've got other club and sorority obligations the rest of the week and i'm leaving Friday to get and early start on my break"
GB: "No problem Wednesday works for me too although i've got business around noon so let's meet at the star bucks by the Apartment complex say around 11am.Sound good?"
Gryffindor: "That sounds perfect" As we're getting off the bus she grabs me by my arm and says, "Wait I need to get your name and number."
GB: "Sure it's xxxxx and my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx.We good?
Gryffindor, "Yup we're golden"
So she sends me a friendly text and I shoot one back at her.
The Next day I send her a text to see of we're still on and get no response but, i'm not gonna sweat it.Worse case of scenario she flakes and I still get some coffee to wake me up.Hell I just might approach the cute girl working at Starbucks.
The Date
So I walk into the star buck in a white cotton dress shirt with my sleeves rolled and some slim-fit pair of dark 108 degree jeans and a nice winter coat from H&M. og and i'm wearing a clean pair of Timberlands along with a cross my birth mother gave to me when she passed away.I grab my Chai Tea and a small sandwich and proceed to sit down.I check my watch and see that it's 10:55AM,look up and see here crossing the parking lot.I notice she's even wearing the gold and scarlet scarf representing this house colors.She comes in and I pull her in for a big up.She the sits her stuff down and goes to order.Upon sitting down she greets me with a tired smile upon her lips.
Gryffindor: Heeeey
GB: "Sup you look like you could use more sleep. Stay up late?"
Gryffindor: "yeah working in that Harry Potter Project but I didn't wanna leave you hanging.That'd have been rude"
So we get to talking about the project and I deep dive asking about her major and such and such. I remember the grip with which she hugged and I inquire.
GB: "You seemed pretty strong when you hug me not that I mind being wrapped up?. Do you Workout?"
Gryffindor: "Actually yeah I try to get in the gym atleast 3 times a week and i'm going for my Zumba instuctor certification."
GB: "NIce,I noticed your body seems really toned and in shape.You seemed to be really passionate about it as well"
Gryffindor: "Yeah I was really scared at first but,now I couldn't imagine not having done so.My friend so I'm like Beyonce when I just lose myself in the dance"
GB: "Wow Beyonce huh? You're going to have to show me your moves most definitely sometime soon."
Gryffindor: "Sure we can definitely do that!!"
GB: "So i'm curious and i've gotta know are you single?"
Gryffindor: "Wow I hadn't expected you to be so blunt lol but I guess you can say I'm kinda single" with a mischievous smile upon her face
GB: "Kinda huh? Is that like being kinda pregnant". I reply in a joking tone to which she laughs at in response. "But that's good to know,I don't like messing with relationships.It'd bad Karma and tends to hurt everyone involved."
Gryffindor: "I agree so,what made you decide to help me??" She says as she looks down
GB: "Well I happen to be a Harry Potter fan myself and truth be told there was just something about you that caught my eye that I can't yet determine.I guess you can say I felt drawn to you."
(As she continuously is looking down)
Gryffindor: Ah I see...Well you said you were on a tight schedule so let's get to looking at the project.
GB: Nonchalantly I reply, "sure"
As she reads me parts of the paper I interrupt her
GB: "Gimme a sec,I can just read it with you and fix your mistakes as we go along"
I get up and lean over with my hands over her shoulder as she begins to read. I fix a couple mistakes here and there while ghosting my arms alonf her shoulder only to find out this girl is ticklish and maaan and I enjoying that.
GryffindorPanting and laughing) "Ok....ok just stop before I fall out of my seat"
I go back to deep diving and find out she's an only child of 2 parents and has a great relationship with both. Somehow the conversations drifts to open-mindedness.I can't remember the exact details but she repeatedly qualified herself talking about how non-judgmental she was.I look at my watch and notice my bus'll be coming soon.
GB: "I hate to cut things short but I've got some business to handle at school and it'd suck if I missed my bus"
Gryffindor: "No problem and thanks soooo much for your help on the paper"
I leave out the Starbucks only to see my bus pass by.Damn.I look over and see her exiting the Starbucks.Let's see how much compliance i can garner and walk back to her.
GB: "Hey I missed my bus.Would you be willing to drop me off at campus?"
Gryffindor: "....I do't normally drive people ever but sure hop in"
I attempt to give her some cash for gas seeing as how she was on E but she refused my request saying, "It cool,I've got it". I get the ride and am dropped off at campus.Later on she texts me saying thanks for such a good time to which I texted back.
GB: "No problem but next time let's just chill at my apartment.It's too cold to be outside and we'll be saving gas too.
Gryffindor: "Hell yeah!"
After texting her back I come to find out she's also a comic book and video game fan. Hell she even claimed to be able to kick=k my ass at Super Smash Brothers too.
So Gentleman of the board please feel free to rate at criticize,it helps make me better. We'll might see each other this coming week after break and I'd love to sleep with her first and foremost.Seems as if she'd making a good FWB if willing
