What do you do when a girl won’t stop complaining about her life on a first date? I was gonna post a FR about this, but I can summarize the main points here. The problem with a girl in non-stop talking mode is that we don’t build a connection, evidenced by her not texting me back.

Imagine a conversation with a girl in a restaurant and upon every deep-dive topic about her, always dwells on the negative.

Topic 1 - She brings up and negative and you thread-cut, then thread-direct towards a certain part you want. She ignores it and keeps plowing through until an awkward silence.

Topic 2 - She brings up the negative part again and you instead employ the bored look. She rambles on for a couple minutes w/o you speaking a word until another awkward silence happens.

Topic 3 - She brings up a negative topic ON HER OWN and you employ a cold-read to a related part of her life. She’s surprised and starts talking about the topic you brought up, only to get side-tracked again on the 3rd negative topic.

Now walking around outside in a park.

Topic 4 - She brings up ANOTHER negative topic and you put your hand over her mouth and call her out. You say something and she FINALLY talks normally.

“We’re trying to have a good time, but need to think about the moment instead of all the stresses in our lives.”
Sure enough after 5 min, she brought up topic #4 again and used it to excuse herself.

I went through every tactic to get her to stop talking, but it didn’t work quickly enough. I find this happening to girls who are bubbly/energetic, but nervous on the date. Any ideas fellas?

There are three kinds of girls if they are bubbly and energetic but you see negativity. Bipolar disorder or Attainability problem or Women who really have history of health problems like blood loss or nutrition or any health problems (this is genuine problem).

Seems like this girl is the first one, unfortunately.

Thanks Zac, I'm more relieved after hearing that. I thought there was something wrong with my process, but I guess she was the problem :p Whew!

I don't know much about bi-polar disorder, but I'll research and see if anything connects.

It was insane, she had absolutely no social calibration. Even when I was in the deepest trenches of the friendzone with a girl 1.5 years ago, she NEVER was this rude. If I looked uncomfortable listening to her problems, she would switch topics immediately.
