What does a girl mean when she tells you she needs some time to be away from you and she doesn't know for how long? Does it mean that its over? Or does she want some time off? This is in a situation where girl likes guy but guy is not reciprocating the same amount of liking for said girl.

Hey troy, thanks for the reply. I just talked it out with her recently. She says shes doing it because she doesnt wanna get too attached to me so soon and she felt i didnt care that much. She says she's trying to get over me. She also said if i meet her in the future she will see what to do.
