So one of the women I picked up in Nightgame on Friday, hot blonde chick from my town. Bit older too, 27 I think (so a 5 year age difference from me). We've been texting and setting up plans for tomorrow since the sorority girl I'm hooking up with cancelled.

Anyway she says we should grab a drink, I suggest a sort of dive bar ish place (not really but it's cheap), she says that's where she used to hang out when she was in her early 20's and doesn't want too. The two places she suggests are kind of pricey to be completely honest and I pointed this out and suggested Red Robin instead, she'd been replying right away when I texted her but stopped for two hours and then said something along the lines of...

"I don't think we're looking for the same things, we're not in the same place right now, sorry I'm cancelling" (that's not exactly what it is because I delete any rejection texts as a waste of my time and focus).

Wasn't going to respond but I figured meh, what the hell so I said "Haha no big deal, if you mean in a relationship sense vs a hookup that IS what I'm looking for but I'm simply not interested in having to wine and dine someone to get it, because I don't need too. I don't think we're compatible, good luck!"

I mean she was pretty damn hot, but I just reread Chase's article about girls who won't hookup with you fast or aren't that interested/Girls who waste your time. I know everyone here has wasted money on women before and I god damn hate doing it, I'll spend a bit of money on coffee or something if the calibration is right for the situation.... buuuuut fuck that, she was def tryna put me in a provider frame yes? Let her go find some chode to do that, I'll focus on seduction tactics and get girls that are interested in ME!! FUCK YEAH! GO GC! Just made out and felt up some this other girl from Nightgame on Friday anyway haha.

This also might have had to do with the fact that you picked a dive bar, too. Generally when I take a girl out for drinks, I pick the nicest place available (that doesn't up-charge for drinks anyway).

The kind of bar you pick still reflects on the type of guy you are, and until you have her out in person, every decision you make over text has a big impact until you've finally met up with her. She already agreed to drinks, but I don't think she was looking to meet up with you at a dive bar. You can still spend very little (if any) money but also still be classy about it.

That's not to say that some girls won't agree to a dive bar. But if she's a relatively "classy" girl rather than a "hipster" type of girl, then she's going to feel like your decision to set up at the date at a dive bar indicates you're not the type of man she's really looking for.

So just make sure that your location reflects the type of place the girl would most likely be comfortable in; chances are, if you met her in a dive bar, she might be completely okay with a dive bar. But if you met her at a nice club or lounge, she'll probably want to meet you at a nice bar/lounge.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't think about that, I tend to burn through leads sometimes in a dumb way; we did meet at a nicer college bar (German themed) that is a little more classy (I'm actually meeting a different girl there tonight for drinks haha).

Sometimes I'm so afraid of being set into a Provider role that I say/do rather silly things.
