When Women Pursue Sex, Even Men Don’t Get It

I saw this article on NYMag and thought it might be of interest to the forums (pictures probably NSFW)

It talks about the conundrum women have in wanting sex as much as or more than men, yet feeling unable to pursue it without social repurcussions.
On GC we are taught that these women exist, yet they feel unable to directly ask or go after what they want. At the same time, most men are brainwashed into thinking that these women don't exist and they need far more than purely a sexual drive and release. Here's a complement to everything we know here - women love sex and they DO go out in pursuit of men that will give it to them, fast, while making them feel secure, discreet, and not subject to the judgment of society. They're out there, gentlemen.

I would go further and say that most women are that way inclined. I have come to understand that their bodies are subject to much the same urges as mens', although they perhaps attach less psychological importance to those urges.

That said I have never been convinced that "societal pressure" would be a strong enough force to make women as resistant as they are.

I think women's resistance to easy sex is a hard-wired thing - they instinctively know that the more easily they give it out the less "valuable" they become as a mate.

In economic terms, the rarer something is the more value it has.

Nuncle,

That said I have never been convinced that "societal pressure" would be a strong enough force to make women as resistant as they are.

I think women's resistance to easy sex is a hard-wired thing - they instinctively know that the more easily they give it out the less "valuable" they become as a mate.

What you might be missing here is that "societal pressure" and the "hard-wired" instinct to withhold quick sex actually go hand in hand. If a woman's reputation is at stake because someone might find OUT that she went to bed quickly with a man, then suddenly her (perceived) options decline because she is viewed as "slutty" and "easy" rather than a woman who is pristine and desirable. Her (perceived) mating options with desirable men decline.

This is of course all nonsense, and most desirable men actually don't care all that much about a woman's sexual history -- you'll find that it's the men who AREN'T getting laid that tend to care more -- and most men place much more importance on a woman's beauty and personality. But there's definitely enough prejudice toward "sluttiness" out there (from both men and women) that it causes women to become extra careful about who they sleep with.

I nearly lost it when she said "game recognize game" LOL!

God, can't wait to be one of those sexy guys women are fawning after. I just don't "see" any of this yet. Anyway, I really enjoyed this article Pooba - thank you for the share.
