Where are the photos?

I'm curious as to where the photos are of all of the hot chicas that dudes here are involved with. This is a site largely (albeit not entirely, of course) revolving around women - presumably attractive women. And yet there are no photos of dudes with such women (at least that I've seen). I've got umpteen hundreds of photos with girls I date (or have dated) and I have no issue with posting some of them, but... there doesn't appear to be a spot for this. I'm generally curious as to what others consider "hot" or an "8" or whathaveyou. If "a picture's worth a thousand words" having a place for photos would probably save folks some typing. But it ain't my site, of course... I'm just curious.

A lot of the members who have posted photos of girls they hooked up with in the past ended up wanting those posts redacted later (likely to preserve the privacy of both the girl and the poster), so I think it mostly has to with posters not wanting the leaked photo to end up hurting someone unintentionally.

By all means, you're welcome to post whatever photos you'd like to post, but I would warn against posting phone numbers or any personal information about the girl (including full name) that might end up backfiring in some way.

The other option is to share photos over private messages with people you specifically want to show them to, which mostly avoids these potential problems.

That all makes sense. (I would never post someone's personal information... not sure I see the point in that anyway.) You know... there is a way to have "control" (although not 100%) over photos - just use a service like screencast-o-matic (or similar) and provide a link to the photos, and if things get squirelly you can just disable the link and - *poof* - the photos are gone (unless someone goes to extreme lengths). So, instead of directly posting the photos to this site, you're just providing a link to them (and they can't be copied or saved, for all intents and purposes) which can later be disabled. Anyhow, food for thought... I'll probably try it at some point. NSFW is ok with appropriate warning? (No, nothing will show up directly on the site or in the post - you'd have to click on the link first.)

This all sounds fine to me! Although it sounds like a lot of extra work, so someone would have to be really set on sharing the images to do so. But feel free to do it this way if you feel like it will make the process safer and encourage other users to do so.

I'd say with appropriate warning, that is fine. I just don't want private messages from users saying they got in trouble because they clicked a link that they thought was SFW on the boards!

I guess there may be three reasons why people haven't done it

1. You may risk getting flamed if you have different taste in women.

2. You may want to change the filename of a photo if you did upload it as people can use google image reverse search or something. Unsure if that just uses the filename, or other parts of the photo eg camera it was taken on, facial recognition, pixel size , aspect ratio if it collects those information as well or not. But you'd want to make sure it was not, as has already been mentioned in this thread already, not going to cause any issues with person in the photo or yourself.

3. I'm unsure if waybackmachine website would keep photos, maybe it would keep embedded links, but then it may also keep the images from those links eg the actual website the photo is on. I'm not sure though.
