Where Did I Fuck Up?

So, today on my way home from work I asked a girl for directions who happened to be extremely cute. After she gave me directions we happened to get off the same stop. It was a bit of a detour (her directions) so I used a indirect approach and commented on how I thought she gave me the wrong directions. She giggled and said "why would I do that?" So I knew she was interested. I told her "hah I dunno, because I'm a stranger!?", corny I know but I'm getting there. Anyway, I asked her name and shook her hand to make contact as I touched her shoulder and promised I cleaned up nice considering we were both sweating pretty bad (108 degrees out with humidity) then said "I know I'm going to regret this if I don't ask, but do you think we could grab a drink sometime?" After a pretty cute/funny awkward pause and "umm" she assured me she cleans up much better as well and gave me her number.

As we went seperate ways I texted her to give her my number and was surprised at how quickly she responded and we got the talking. So much to the point where I thought the conversation would end she would ask me more questions. I opened the convo with some good pics of me and she seemed to approve. After the talking quite a bit, I said this "so do you have any pics? I can't imagine its possible being cuter as you say, I would have to see it!" I even said something she admittedly literally laughed out loud at! This seemed to be going great! But then it happened. She responded "yeah I have pics". I replied "send ". Then that was it... No response. I know she read it because she has that feature on her phone enabled. But ZERO RESPONSE for the rest of the night. I let it be and never texted back this way I can save it for maybe Sunday or something.

What do you guys think? Do you think it was something I said? Maybe she didn't like the pics thing? Maybe she didn't like my job? When do you think I should text HER if ever?

I mean, she gave me her schedule and said Fridays she was off. Was this an invitation to invite her out tonight?

I want to plan my next move well considering I really thought she was gorgeous. My type to the tee.

Well, I woke up this morning to a text with a pic, so I guess I jumped the gun. We are hanging out this week.

Does anyone have advice on a weekday date? I would normally do the drinks thing, but we both have work and would rather do a break the ice type get together. This way when we do drinks on the weekend my chances of a 'more eventful' night.

Even if a girl approves of your pic's it comes across as if you're trying to prove something to her which puts you in the lower value area and also you're chasing her, Not to mention kills off the mystery a bit because it's better to have her trying to remember what you look like than her instantly seeing what you look like. If you continue to do things like that she will friend zone you if she hasn't already.

Just want to give an update on this one since I really appreciate the responses. She wound up acting a bit childish and giving me the "I'll think about it" response to hanging out. Obvious armature since she is also young. I radio silenced her for a while then she finally hit me up asking me why she didn't hear from me. I told her because she sounded like she wasn't interested. She wanted to know how to make it up to me so I let her take me out for dinner at a spot of my choosing. I wound up not being as physically attracted to her as I thought I was so I ended the night in a rush to get to my backup plans.

She texted me immediately after trying to initiate some texting but I shut it down. I am not the most picky person in the world, but if there is a slight indication in my mind I am not physically attracted, I can't bring myself to date just for the numbers. Not that kind of dude. I cold shouldered her and I think she got the hint.

MmM.. sometimes it's nice to act like the chick once in a while!
