I think some situations may call for sending a text back and thus leaving off as being the one who sent the last text. Don't want to have to stay rigid to the SHE SENT THE LAST TEXT, SHE WANTS THE D. Because that's ridiculous but because of the nuances of time frame and chase dynamics, I want to dive a little into this.
I'll bring out an example to use from...
Chatted up a cute girl from Tinder, set up plans for a date and told her to text me her name.
Girl: Hey it's the brunette (told her I tease brunettes for fun earlier)
J: Ah must be the singer... Shall as I save you as "the brunette"
(want to play along with the frame as if I lose track of girls haha)
Girl: haha no no <CENSORED> is good
...Now here I was thinking that I don't need to text anything. Though there is a bit of a feeling like I just let the fun vibe go with loose ends and dies, instead of sending something just like: Hehe
Same thing when a girl texts me something like
Okay, I'm good on Saturday! I'll see you then!
or I'd love to meet up later, I'll text you when I'm out of work.
These feel like they need an: "ok." or something of the like.
This is really just finer details but I want to tighten up the little loose screws of my text game.
