Moaning guy: What a stupid party, I wonder why I attended that.
Person 1: No one forced you to come ;)
Person 2: Stop moaning brah. Next party will be way better ;)
Moaning guy: Dont call me brah please and dont talk without knowledge about other parties.
Person 2: Sure, I'm stupid ;)
Moaning guy: (thumbs up icon)

Why do you think that?

What would you thing if the Person 2 fires back keeping his pride?

Dont you think Person 2 looks weak by getting dominated by the other guy?

I think even if Moaning guy is a jerk, hes got a stronger frame by giving orders and being agressive.

Person 2 looks more passive.

No, no , no lol.
The guy moaning is only trying to assert dominance, and it isn't working.
Person 2 is keeping his composure and isn't making a big deal out of it, he's actually getting under the skin of the moaning guy.

First off, person 2 was being fun, and making light of the moaning the guy was doing which shows social dominance (not over reacting), then,
the moaning guy says "Dont call me brah please and dont talk without knowledge about other parties"
By simply responding like this, he is letting his anger get to him, which causes him to retaliate with force (that's not how a socially dominant man handles things), then Person 2 says:
"Sure, I'm stupid ;)"
This is dominant because he's not giving in the aggression of the other guy, nor is he trying to rebuttal with
"I've been to other parties!!!! and blah blah blah", he simply defuses the incident and laughs about it (that is socially dominant)

the thumbs up icon is done out of anger, and sarcasm, rather than general agreement, in this case, the thumbs up is a bad thing (socially weaker)

Person 2 should not have gotten involved from the outset of the conversation. Moaning guy is just asking for someone to come into his negative conversation thread so that he can bring them down to his level, and he succeeds by pulling in Person 2 and holding steady to his frame.

However DE, person 2 was not brought down to his level, he maintained his composure and was cool about everything, making him the more dominant person. Dominant men are not ones who force their frames onto others, dominant men are those who influence others and win them over to their thinking, by no means are they brutish in force, whether it's verbally or not.

Person 2, whether he should have or shouldn't have joined the conversation matters not. The fact is he did in a way which would normally be taken in a positive manner, the moaning guy chose to react like a bitch, and is thus the less dominant person.

I think we can all agree that men can be dominant regardless of how they do it"Dominance is how you get the things you want." From what Ive read on here dominance isn't just about logically winning people over to their thinking. It seems men look at things as always logical, but in reality they are both logical and emotional. You come off as a guy who is focused on the logical stuff points of things, but my gut tells me that the moaning guy is dominant because of his emotions.

Actually, I focus on both, but yes, I tend to focus on logic a bit more than emotion, which is ironic because emotions come so easily to me, and emotions are actually my specialty with women...

Anyway, even if you look at this argument from an emotional standpoint, person 2 is still winning because he's not giving in to the moaning guys attempt to be swallowed up in a negative conversation. Person 2 controls himself, keeps his composure, and brushes off the attempt to get him into the negativity. Because of that, he is being dominant, because he's unwaivering, he's unwilling to play the game of the moaning guy, and because of that, the moaning guy looks like a jerk, while person 2 remains a cool customer, which is what a dominant man does.

Moaning guy isn't the one controlling emotion, person 2 is because he's under the moaning guys skin without even trying to be. When your emotion is swayed by someone, when you can't keep your cool then you're not dominant.

Two lessons I learned from this:

1 Acting like Moaning guy and complaining that a party was bad is a waste of time. Instead, you should work on more constructive things.
2 Acting like Person 2 and telling someone who feels bad to stop feeling bad isn't the best way to go about things. Instead, if you want to make him feel better, you should probably talk it out in private and listen to what they have to say rather than assuming things.

Person 2 or moaning guy wins?

Definitely person 2 up to and including "Moaning guy: Dont call me brah please and dont talk without knowledge about other parties."

That response makes Moaning guy look like a petty, irrational, illogical nutter.

But then saying "Sure, I'm stupid" makes it a little less clear cut. Person 2 should maybe have just logged off after MG's first reply to him. But it depends on Person 2's inner state when he said it. I have seen people brush off really horrible insults and thereby make the insulter look like an insignificant child. But I have also seen people be really thrown and visibly affected by insults and goaded into revealing this with a stupid reply.

Hard to tell which is which online!

Either way MG comes across as the least socially well adjusted, but then again that is not necessarily a bar to dominance.

Moaning guy lost before this even started. He basically said that he went to a boring party, and that he is living a boring life. He's being a little bitch about the whole thing, even if it was a boring party, why announce it to the world? I can only picture a lower value male saying something like this.

You could probably use this responses to pretend you are "fuck up" or a guy who's not boyfriend material to get girls in Facebook. In fact most people i know, those guys who are "fuck up" in Facebook are 90% of the time, fuck up in real life. The other 10%, i don't really meet them so often, but you be surprised if you meet their girlfriends in reality.

They can surprise you, but most of the time, those people are just fuck up or Primadonnas. Try not to be one of those, at least not in real life. :)
